Delete account and data

Request deletion from TofuLove

Email us from the address of your TofuLove account and ask us to delete your account and its associated personal data. You do not need to have the app installed or be signed in. We verify that the request belongs to your account and confirm deletion by email.

In the Android app, the same route is available under Settings → About TofuLove → Delete account and data. Account management also lets you delete your sign-in yourself; contact us through this page to request deletion of all associated data.

Data that is deleted

We delete your sign-in, personal account data, private Tofi conversations and attachments, connections, and your Discover profile with its posts, media and interactions. Shared kitchens remain with their other members; a kitchen without other members is also deleted. Recipe copies that other people imported into their cookbooks remain there.

Retained data

Legally required moderation reports and statements of reasons are retained without a link to your account. Reporter contact details are deleted 180 days after the decision, and related email records 180 days after their creation. Technical backups may retain data until their retention period ends.
