Community guidelines

Who can take part

• Discover is for ages 13 and up.
• Only invited creators aged 18 or older can publish posts. A person reviews every post before it goes live.

Your own content

• Only publish photos, videos, text and recipes that you made yourself or have the right to use. This includes music and sound in videos.
• If another recipe inspired yours, credit the source. Do not copy other people’s recipe texts, photos or videos.

Food safety

• No instructions that are dangerous, such as unsafe heating, pickling or preserving, or eating toxic or unsuitable ingredients.
• Be honest about allergens and ingredients. Name known allergens and do not label a recipe as free of something unless you are sure.
• No medical promises and no health or nutrition claims. Recipes do not cure anything and do not replace medical or dietary advice.

Respectful behaviour

• No hate speech, harassment, threats or demeaning others because of origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits.
• No diet-shaming: nobody is shamed for their diet, weight or eating habits. This includes recipes that glorify eating disorders.

Not allowed

• Nudity, sexual content and sexualised depictions.
• Violence, animal cruelty, self-harm and other graphic depictions. Ordinary preparation of meat or fish is fine when it is not meant to shock.
• Illegal content, such as incitement to crime, fraud, drug production or infringement of copyright and personality rights.
• Other people’s private data, such as addresses or photos of people who did not agree.

Ads and spam

• No spam, misleading posts or fake engagement.
• Advertising and paid partnerships must be clearly disclosed. For posts featuring alcohol or other adult-only ingredients, a moderator may hide the post from people under 18.

Real identity

• Do not pretend to be another person, a brand or TofuLove. Usernames must not mislead.

Protecting minors

• No content that endangers or sexualises minors. We report such content to the competent authorities.
• Posts that suit adults only are marked 18+. They are not visible to users under 18 or to visitors without an account.

What happens when rules are broken

• We may decline or remove posts, hide posts from minors, restrict accounts or suspend them permanently. For serious or repeated violations we suspend immediately.
• We explain each such decision by email with a statement of reasons (the facts, the rule or legal ground, whether it was automated) and the ways to object.
• We keep removed posts for 30 days so we can restore them after a mistake. Clearly illegal content is deleted immediately.

Reporting content

• In the app, report posts and profiles from the menu. The post disappears for you immediately.
• You can also report illegal content without an account using the notice form. You get a receipt and later the decision by email. Notice form

Objecting to a decision

If you disagree with a decision, reply to the decision email or write to the contact point. A person reviews your case again. Other rights, such as out-of-court dispute settlement under Art. 21 DSA or going to court, remain unaffected.
